Traditional team programs often focus on knowledge and skills. But teams and organizations that want to grow sustainably need more: leaders and employees who act with emotional intelligence (EQ), with resilience, communication strength, and impact.
All Horsepower® programs start from the same innovative methodology that makes missing but crucial skills visible: the Horsepower® framework. Horses do not respond to job titles or words, but to what is truly present: energy, intention, and authenticity. Their feedback is direct, pure and non-judgmental, exposing how someone deals with collaboration, leadership, and group dynamics.
All participants experience our safe and respectful setting — guided by a certified equine coach. All insights are translated into a structured team report, based on the Horse Power® assessment model. Thanks to our R&D program, where AI algorithms link feedback from horse, coach, and participant to the archetype model, we discover new patterns that provide highly valuable insights for leadership development and team cohesion.
Fluid Leadership
In a horse herd, leadership is not a static role but a continuous interplay. Depending on the situation, one horse takes the initiative while the rest follow, only to switch roles again later. We call this natural shifting Fluid Leadership: the art of moving flexibly in and out of leadership, attuned to what the group and the moment require. Horses mirror this flawlessly — they search for the natural leader in the human standing before them.
For teams and leaders, this means that effective leadership is not about always being at the front, but about knowing when to provide direction and when to create space. It’s about balancing decisiveness with connection, structure with intuition. Fluid Leadership helps participants recognize their own preferences while also developing the other strengths, enabling them to function more powerfully and resiliently in changing circumstances.
From insight to development
Each program begins with an individual Horsepower® assessment, the baseline scan that clarifies for every participant which Horsepowers are strongly developed and which are less so. This results in a personal report as well as a collective team report. Based on these insights, participants (individually or as a team) can choose one or more in-depth workshops, each linked to one of the four archetypal forces of the Horsepower® archetype model.


The starting point is diagnostic learning: not standard training programs on leadership, communication, or efficiency, but targeted development based on the energy that requires strengthening. In this way, Fluid Leadership becomes not just a vision but a practice: learning to shift, expand, and make use of the full spectrum of leadership strengths — both within yourself and within your team.
Concretely, you receive

Individual profile – For each participant, an overview is created showing how they move within the four domains:

• Verbal & Non-Verbal Communication

Archetypal mapping – Based on the four Horse Powers and 16 profile descriptions, each participant’s behavioural, communication, and leadership profile is revealed, and how this translates into daily work practice. Dominant as well as underdeveloped energies are made visible in a positive and empowering way.

Team profile and domain radars – By combining all individual results, the overall team picture — the “herd” — becomes clear. Where do styles complement one another? Where are tension, rigidity, or blind spots? What are the team’s strengths and pitfalls, and where lies its growth potential?

Conclusions & recommendations – The report links these insights back to key organisational themes such as leadership development, talent management, team cohesion, and change readiness. Each participant also receives a personal report with fresh insights and an explanation of their growth potential.
This concludes Phase 1 – the diagnostics. Participants can then move on to the learning phase. This is where it truly happens — where growth potential is activated.
After the scan, participants — individually or as a group — move into one or more targeted Horsepower® bootcamp sessions, workouts each connected archetypal forces of the herd. In this way, the mare workshop deepens the intuitive wisdom and inner calm of our inner Intuitive Mare, as well as the empathy and mutual understanding of our Mirror Mare. The stallion workshop, in turn, activates the decisiveness of our inner Flame Stallion and the responsible, structured, results-oriented leadership of our Anchor Stallion.
Each workshop combines experiential learning with horses, reflection, and practical translation to the workplace, enabling participants to intentionally develop the energy that completes their leadership and collaboration.
How does the Horsepower® scan work?
These individual sessions take place in a low-stimulus outdoor environment, where each participant — during a personal, live interaction with a horse — is confronted with their own communication, posture, and leadership style. This happens in a safe and respectful way, under the guidance of a certified equine coach.
Each participant follows an individual three-step process:
- Online preparation (± 30 minutes) – reflection on expectations and learning goals.
- Live session with the horse (± 2 hours) – visible interactions and mirroring in the areas of contact, trust, setting boundaries, and taking leadership.
- Individual debrief & final report – translated into the Horsepower® archetype model, offering clear insights into strengths, growth opportunities, and potential pitfalls.


Insight into hidden herd dynamics
When the entire team completes a Horsepower® program, the true herd dimension becomes clear. We achieve this as follows:
- Intake meeting with the client or manager to clearly define team development objectives.
- Horsepower® team radar – this report provides insight into the team’s collective dynamics. It highlights strengths, blind spots and complementarities, and stimulates collaboration.
